Balanced stay at the complex

tropical gardens clean pools limited sun blackout curtain

The hotel grounds have excellent tropical gardens. The grounds spread across 12 acres in a village style. I also liked the exit door close to the beach and the marina. The staff kept the pools clean.

The sun did not hit the pool until nearly 11am , and it disappeared behind a building around 4pm. The blackout curtain in the room had come off its track.

awful lunch hidden costs

The food at the dinner buffet was only ok. I found the lunch to be honestly awful. I was hoping to try the Michelin restaurant, but they only offered a tasting menu that cost €140 (that's QUITE a lot). We were charged for using the safe and for the coffee pods, which I thought were complimentary. The AUDACITY!

the hotel grounds include botanical gardens both inside and outside. this creates a peaceful relaxing environment. the walk to town is short on a wide pedestrian walkway. the room had a balcony overlooking the pool.

the bedroom decor was dated. blackout curtain in our room had come off its track. there were hardly any drawers for clothes.

I found the lack of sun at the pool disappointing. The hotel's location in a valley means the sun was limited. my room was also quite dark. the decor felt dated and there was insufficient storage. the safe incurred a daily fee. these issues detracted from an otherwise acceptable stay.

I stayed in a superior double room. The room had two separate sinks in the bathroom. I appreciated the separate seating area with comfortable chairs. The hotel grounds featured many pools. I also enjoyed the botanical gardens and their peaceful spots.

The evening meal was repetitive. Choice felt somewhat limited, but acceptable.

wonderful stay

hotel garden pool temperature food selection attentive staff

the hotel gardens were beautiful i enjoyed strolling through them every day. the pools were a perfect temperature and i found plenty of sunbeds available. i especially liked the fresh food selection. the staff were very attentive and always ready to help. the rooms were super clean.

the wi-fi was a little patchy in certain areas of the hotel.
