james at reception answered all my questions about the area. he even were really nice too find information i had asked about. the hotel provided continental breakfast outside normal hours as i was leaving early.
The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. It barely warmed up even on the highest setting.

An Acceptable Stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially given our late arrival. I found them to be communicative and did everything possible to make us comfortable. They even arranged food for us, even though the kitchen was closed, which I REALLY appreciated.
The bathroom was not as clean as i would have liked. I noticed some black hairs on the bathroom floor. There were also cobwebs in the corner of the bath NEAR the floor. The beds were too hard for MY liking and the pillows felt uncomfortably flimsy.

The bar area was modern, and the staff provided excellent service. My room was spacious, a great feature (i must admit). The breakfast offered a large variety of options. I especially appreciated the fresh fruit salad.
The lift door showed some chipped paint.

The breakfast had perfect items made to order, including Irish soda bread! The restaurant's seafood chowder was lovely, and the steak was very tasty. Staff members were attentive and helpful, providing great value for money. The location is near a golf course too.
I found a few cobwebs by the windows. Otherwise everything was perfect!
