i loved that the breakfast was excellent with many options including gluten-free choices i was in a basic ground floor room yet it was well appointed the bar and garden room were very attractive i found the staff friendly and helpful. the location was perfect the hotel also had good parking. the room was furnished beautifully and it had scenic views from the windows.
the lighting in the bathroom was not adequate to do makeup comfortably the room felt slightly dusty and the room was hard to find when i arrived. the room was not as modern as i thought it would be.

I visited for afternoon tea and i was immediately charmed by the warm reception. the views from the conservatory bistro were Fine, with a clear view of Chatsworth House. the restaurant staff offered perfect service. Nothing was too much trouble. the food was excellent, and i had a relaxing drink in the adjacent lounge area.
My only slight disappointment was the price of prosecco. It felt a bit expensive, considering the overall experience, but that's understandable.
