the hotel's central location was a real plus (it made exploring so easy!). secure off-street parking was provided, which gave us great peace of mind.

the mattress was not comfortable as the springs were shot. i could hear creaking and banging throughout the night since this building is quite old.

the building has beautiful historical features, with many public spaces available for relaxation. i enjoyed the historical photos and information about the hotel's past. the location proved very convenient for access to local shops and restaurants (a definite plus). on-site parking was easy to access.

the bed was not very comfortable. i woke up with a stiff neck.

the bed was too soft. after a day of hiking in the blue mountains, this did not help my body recover. the breakfast was not good either. there were few choices, the coffee tasted bad, scrambled eggs were dry, bacon was poor, and the bread was not good.
