Dining at Lodge
Guests can enjoy breakfast in the light-filled Refectory Restaurant, with tables extending onto a terrace in warmer months. A full English breakfast is served in the Refectory Restaurant, which has additional alfresco seating on the terrace during summer months. The onsite restaurant is Refectory Restaurant. If the menu is familiar from other Pigs, the standard of cooking is high. Guests can enjoy a delicious three-course àlacarte lunch, followed by a stroll in the Cathedral grounds. Leisure and Activities
The Campanile Garden provides a backdrop for open-air receptions, barbecues, and outdoor performances. The Library and Campanile Garden offer a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a talk by the Archives team on the manuscripts in the Cathedral's collections. A fully-guided six-hour tour, arranged by Canterbury Cathedral, visits Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey, and St Martin's Church, the three sites that make Canterbury a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour concludes at the Cathedral, where you can explore the Cathedral Precincts, gardens, and gift shop. The private Campanile Garden at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge provides a stunning backdrop for open air receptions, barbecues and outdoor performances. Coastal towns such as Whitstable and Broadstairs are within easy reach by public transport or car.
