the staff were friendly , and the location near the sea and castle was acceptable.
The teabags used for breakfast tea were not good quality. the breakfast felt underwhelming for a four-star hotel . The portion sizes were small except for the full welsh breakfast , and only sliced bread was available. croissants were listed but not on display.

i stayed for a few nights, and the hotel's location is fantastic as it faces the sea. i could see tremadog bay and eryri national park. the restaurant food was good, and the staff were attentive. breakfast was also great, i liked the esplanade strolls after dinner.
The lift is quite small and old, having sliding doors. when left open, it stops the lift from working. I found this slightly inconvenient.
