The room was a good size (i stayed in a standard double room). i found two dog bowls ready for use, helpful. breakfast was also a positive. The english cooked breakfast was delicious.
the mattress in the room wasn't the best. the room was located in a separate building, which wasn't ideal.

the hotel location worked fine, quite convenient to get around.
my room was rather dated, which i suppose adds to the charm for some. the television seemed like it came from another era, and really impacted my viewing enjoyment. i also noticed there was no mirror near a power outlet, so drying my hair was a real balancing act.
