Butiama Beach Lodge has a swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Complimentary sea kayaks are available for guest use. A large Dive Centre, Big Blu Mafia Island Dive Centre, is located on-site and provides diving courses. The lodge features beach pool bars, a spa, a pool with a sea view, and a beach.
Location and Activities
Butiama Beach Lodge is near Kilindoni. The beach serves as a departure point for swimming with whale sharks. Guests can snorkel on nearby reefs with corals and fish. Boat trips are available to the island of Juani, where Green Sea Turtles nest, and to Kua Lagoon to see upside-down jellyfish. Sunset cruises are also available. Butiama Mafia Island consists of three family run accommodation venues and one diving centre on Mafia Island off the coast of Tanzania. Airport transfers are included at Butiama Beach Lodge and Butiama Bustani Hotel. Laundry service, mineral water, and tea/coffee are provided. The boutique offers basic necessities, beach clothing, jewelry, and gifts from Tanzania.
