The St George Island Brewfest takes place the last weekend in April, with featured breweries and live music at Paddy's Raw Bar. SGI also offers the Mullet Toss on the second Saturday in June behind the Blue Parrot.

The Buccaneer Inn (established in 1979) is on St. George Island, Florida. It is 100 km from Tallahassee Regional Airport. Pelican Reef, Bob Sikes Cut, Sea Oats Art Gallery and Saint George Island Lighthouse are 0.5 km away. The hotel is walking distance from activities, local restaurants, and shops. Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum and St James Bay Golf Resort in Carrabelle are a short drive away. Guests can visit the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center in Eastpoint.
