Amtrak Union Station is a couple blocks away and is also a main hub for the city bus system. The number 151 CTA bus located at Jackson and Canal goes to the Magnificent Mile.

While the rooms are clean and comfortable, some guests have pointed out noise issues due to the proximity to the highway, but I think the convenience and family-friendly perks, like free meals for kids, make it a reasonable choice for a downtown stay.”
