i found the premises quite maze-like given the historic building. the rooms seemed renovated to a good standard. the location worked very well as it is in the town center.
the car park seemed full when i arrived. i had to wait for someone to leave before i could park. perhaps allocated spaces for hotel guests could help.

The location was fine. I did not have any issues with it.
The breakfast was a sad state of affairs. It barely reached lukewarm temperatures. The quality seemed questionable. The curtains did not block light, so the street light made sleep impossible.

The hotel is in a historic building. rooms are renovated well. the location is in the town center. I found it convenient. the food at the restaurant was also very nice.
i found no toiletries, other than two bars of soap. i noticed a shop across the road though. it was sufficient, but not ideal.

the welcome book in my room included qr codes for local attractions. it was a great idea. the room was well furnished and clean also it had lovely hot water. i especially liked the pies i had steak and guinness with new potatoes and vegetables.
the room felt a bit stuffy despite radiators turned off.

i checked in early and my room was ready, really convenient. the food was delicious, i especially enjoyed the pie. a young staff member was very helpful and friendly during dinner service!
The bathroom lacked basic toiletries. I suggest adding small shower gels .
