“Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang holds a strategic position for exploring local street food and the arts scene, though the immediate neighborhood is slightly removed from the city's central bustle. The rooftop revolving restaurant stands out, providing impressive panoramic views of George Town. While the property shows some age, its location adjacent to a vibrant night food court is a definite plus for dining options.”

comfortable stay with spacious rooms
spacious suite great view useful amenity busy pool
i booked a suite at the last minute and got a good rate. the suite was spacious and provided a great view (i could see the coastline!). the location proved convenient, and i found many useful amenities in the room. the pool was busy, but i still enjoyed it.
soundproofing wasn't great due to connecting doors, so i could sometimes hear noise from the adjacent room.
Service
9/10
the staff was cute and helpful at all times , always providing service with a smilewith a great atmosphere. they responded quickly to requests via qr codes for ordering towels and other services, (it was very convenient).
Dining
8/10
breakfast included mostly local dishes, a tasty option. those preferring continental breakfast could make bread and butter, or toast with scrambled eggs. the restaurant in the foyer offered both local and western food in a quiet setting.
Rooms
9/10
The room spanned 37 square meters, it felt spacious. from the 15th floor, i had a bay view and could even see the bridge. the bathroom was big, including a bathtub and a standing shower. The water pressure was strong.
Facilities
10/10
the hotel's location proved convenient for accessing various areas. many places of interest and restaurants were within walking distance. getting around was easy by using grab or buses, or by walking from the premises.
