i found some period features that lent character to the space, complemented by modern amenities. returning, i always find the staff helpful. the location worked well, a short walk to kks steel mill. i found the lawn area a plus, and a tranquil spot to sit outside to enjoy take away.
The lobby carpets showed a little wear. A quick vacuum would help. though, it was a minor detail overall.

A reasonable stay

helpful staff huge bathroom unpleasant odour thin door
The location was good for getting around town. The staff helped us get a taxi when we needed one. The bathroom was huge with a nice bath. The deep pile carpet was beautiful.
The first room I got had an unpleasant smell. The room faced a busy main road and was very noisy. I think the external door on one wall was thin and fit badly.

poor soundproofing unavailable breakfast
The car park on site was convenient. It made arrival straightforward.
The lack of soundproofing was a major issue. I could clearly hear conversations from the room above and noise in the hallway kept me awake. Sleep quality suffered significantly. advertised breakfast was unavailable .
