Nearby landmarks include Kinabalu Park (1 km), Taman Botani (1 km), Timpohon Gate (3 km), and Kundasang War Memorial (5 km). Kundasang Township, with local shops, is 6 km away.
Transportation Services
For transport, a daily bus from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau departs at 8:00 am near the Padang Bus Station. Budget taxis that accommodate 4 passengers are available there. Car parking is provided. As many as twenty vehicles, including coaches and buses, can park at Panataran Kinabalu Restaurant. Driving from Kota Kinabalu-Ranau road, look for the Ayana Holiday Resort signboard near the roadside after passing Bundu Tuhan junction (91km).
