The JamJar Bar is a popular spot, noted for its welcoming atmosphere and amazing food, with some claiming it was the best they experienced on their trip; the breakfast also receives high marks. comfortable bedfriendly staffoutside accesspoor pressure
I found the location excellent for exploring the area. The hotel rooms were super clean, and the bed was very comfortable (I slept like a log!). The breakfast had many options, and the Scottish cooked breakfast was particularly nice. The staff serving breakfast were really friendly, which I appreciated.
My room required me to exit the building to reach the restaurant and bar area. This meant going outside, inconvenient. The water pressure in the shower was also quite poor.

the hotel setting near the water was appealing. they have updated the decor, and it now has plenty of character. lively music created a nice atmosphere in the bar. the staff was helpful and the food was good.
the manager did not display strong customer service upon my arrival. i did not feel particularly welcome. the menu had some odd items and the products seemed low quality. it was expensive.

the room was very clean. the view of the loch and wildlife was a plus. the staff was awesome! i found a guitar on the wall for anyone to play and played for a while. the breakfast was wonderful.
access from the rooms requires you to go outside. the adjoining door doesn't connect to the restaurant. there was no light at the entrance to this door to see when putting keys in.

The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. I had a lovely supper and a GREAT breakfast. Private parking was available.
Access from the rooms requires you to go outside the building. I could not use the adjoining door to the restaurant or bar area. There was no light at the entrance into this door, so it was difficult to see when putting keys in.

Satisfactory Stay

The location offered lovely views. The breakfasts featured nice morning conversations with staff. They were polite. All staff members were very cute.
The menu was somewhat limited. Service was a bit slow. This occurred despite only a few tables being occupied.
