Hotel Atrio has 22 rooms: 20 with sea views and 2 with courtyard views of citrus trees. Rooms feature a romantic or Mediterranean style. 15 rooms have a terrace and are in the garden. Hotel Atrio features a restaurant open daily from 1 PM to 10 PM. The cuisine uses local products, fruits, vegetables, and herbs from the garden. A breakfast buffet is available from 8 AM to 11 AM, including homemade breads, croissants, jams, yogurt, fresh orange juice, and cottage cheese. The restaurant terrace faces southeast, allowing outside dining.
Garden & Relaxation
Hotel Atrio provides access to a swimming pool, heated to 21 degrees in winter, set in a 12,000 m² garden. The hotel offers a Klaffs sauna, reservable for 10 euros per hour (includes water, tea, sauna towels, and bathrobes). Guests can book a 30-minute Indian head massage for 15 Euros or a 50-minute full body massage for 20 Euros. The hotel also arranges mountain bike and racing bike deliveries.

Hotel Atrio lies on the edge of a Eucalyptus forest and is near the Laurel forest (a UNESCO site). It is located 500m from the Levada Nova da Calheta and 5-10 minutes by car from the best paragliding spot on Madeira. Calheta has trails for mountain biking. Hotel Atrio is 55 km from Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport. Tours to the Desertas Islands departing from Funchal can be booked.
