great hotel with great service
generous room lovely decoration yummy food
the staff were nice and very helpful with everything i needed. my room was a great size, decorated with lovely touches, and totally comfortable. the food at the restaurant was yummy, and breakfast was a proper treat.
the gym felt a little outdated. the equipment needed some tlc.

the hotel is near the golf course. a car is definitely needed to see the island. a taxi service is available for trips to locations like funchal, so it is accessible.

The hotel featured a swimming pool available on level -1. Parking was available on the hotel premises. The food was AMAZING!!! The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cleaning of the rooms was not perfect.

furnished room fresh breakfast
i found the room nicely furnished with all necessary facilities. fresh breakfast was very good and the staff assisted me well. i especially liked the huge tea and coffee pots.
the gym needs UPDATING. there is no bar and there is no selling of snacks. the hotel is a bit isolated.

the breakfast was enjoyable and satisfactory , with fresh options available. i found that the hotel restaurant offers a talented cook , preparing dishes like the scabbard fish filet with banana.

the hotel boasts a location ideal as a base for exploring the island. i noticed that the position is rather internal , though that makes it very relaxing. a car park is available, which simplifies your life on the island.

the staff members were very kind and cute upon my arrival. i was impressed with the genuine engagement of the team. the concierge women were very nice and they helped a lot.

The pool area looked to be very relaxing and well maintained. the building had a charming vintage style which i found appealing. i made good use of the billiard room. It proved a good spot for evening relaxation.
