I was a bit disappointed. i booked a classic king room balcony (i really wanted that view!), but the balcony was surprisingly small. it barely fit a chair. also, the air conditioning was quite weak. It struggled to keep the room cool, even on a moderately warm day. it was quite frustrating to deal with especially during the night.

central location beautiful room excellent service breakfast variety

I totally loved the location. It was super central for seeing everything. the beautiful room was amazing. It felt really big. the staff provided excellent service, always ready to assist. breakfast was fantastic, and i definitely enjoyed a wide variety of options.

during my stay, the lobby experienced loud music late into the night, bothersome (earplugs didn't quite cut it).

the spa has a large pool suitable for swimming laps and relaxation, with twenty comfortable loungers around the deck and a shaded area for those seeking respite from the sun. the gym includes three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and a selection of free weights.

really good stay in the palace suite

caring staff front desk local food culture

the staff was very caring. alexandra at the front desk ensured all our needs were met. catalan at the club lounge provided food and drinks even after 8:00pm, the regular closing time. he also explained the local food culture, history, and places to visit.

the hotel is centrally located, close to major attractions and cultural sites. it requires a bit of walking to reach the old town, for those interested.

the newly opened café athenee provided a luxurious and cozy atmosphere. i especially enjoyed the great variety of cakes and pastries (i think i tried them all!).

basement room housekeeping service

The staff were knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet provided many options.

My room was sub-sol. It was half in the basement. I was told in the morning i could have called housekeeping to open the windows. I did not like that i was getting a room in the basement.
