“The Poet Hotel's location near the train station makes Cinque Terre easily accessible. I appreciate the hotel's embrace of modern art, extending even to the innovative breakfast area, and it is very guest oriented, featuring pet-friendly rooms and accommodating staff. From what I gather, the rooms are well-appointed, and the rainfall showers are a welcome luxury after a day of coastal exploration.”

Modern Hotel with Great Location
central square modern design friendly staff helpful information
I found the hotel very close to the central square with restaurants and shops. The train station was also a manageable walk away. I appreciated the friendly staff and the modern design of the hotel. Breakfast included a good variety of fruits, meats, and cheeses. They also provided helpful information about bus routes.
The hotel bar had limited options for drinks I only wanted a cocktail

Mixed Feelings About My Stay
climate control empty minibar
The room's climate control was definitely off. The room was too hot and I could not adjust the temperature. The hotel could not fix it. The minibar was also empty, a little disappointing. It would have been nice to have some water or snacks available in the room. The combination of these small issues.
