"The setting was gorgeous as our room faced the back of the property with the river right there and they have a few benches on the grass if you want to sit by river or you can sit right outside you room which has small table and two chairs."

Some rooms provide views of the Frying Pan River and include a terrace. Safety features include a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, and a security system.

Dining at Riverside Grill

Guests can experience riverside dining on the deck at the Riverside Grill. The food is available on the deck. There are also other great dining opportunities in Basalt and the surrounding area.

Activities and Adventures

Basalt provides access to the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Crystal, and Colorado Rivers for fly fishing. Other activities include hiking, boating, and skiing. The lodge is located near hiking/biking trails, mountain biking, and ziplining. Willits Town Center and Snowmass Mall are nearby.

Location and Transport

Located in Basalt at the confluence of the Frying Pan and Roaring Fork Rivers, the Aspenalt Lodge is 30 km from Aspen-Pitkin County. The lodge is half way between Aspen and Glenwood Springs in the Roaring Fork Valley. Glenwood Springs, with its hot mineral baths and the world's largest naturally heated outdoor swimming pool, is 22 miles away. Eagle County Regional Airport is the nearest airport. A shuttle service is available from a stop steps away from the lodge.

The Aspenalt Lodge is a division of Frying Pan Anglers. The village of Basalt provides the experience of a ski lodge at a fraction of the cost of comparable goods and services in Aspen.
