a decent stay
friendly staffequipped roompoor pool maintenancenoisy sheet
the staff were very friendly and kind. they welcomed me with smiles. my room was fully equipped with a daily room and a kitchenette. it felt unique.
the pool's maintenance was not ideal. i was told it was safe, yet i decided not to use it. there was a sunbed at the bottom. the bed had an old, noisy, waterproof sheet. it made it not comfy to sleep on.

the room was spacious with a balcony. i got upgraded to a sea view room, that was nice. the kitchen was equipped, also staff at reception suggested a good restaurant to eat. i had a good nights sleep.
the building needed painting, so it looked a little tired.

the reception provided a map and gave suggestions of things to do in the area. staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations when i asked. i found them courteous.

the location gave a wizard view of the headland to the fort and the lighthouse. i could even see the light at cape st vincent. it was a great base for exploring the area by bicycle.

breakfast had a wide selection including fruits and vegetables. coffee and juices were available with no restrictions. the hotel baked tasty cookies on site, that i tried for breakfast.

the pool was large, also i enjoyed using it despite the fact it was later in the year. convenient parking was available at the hotel. the hotel provided a cycle path to cape st v.
