excellent location tidy room nice porter faulty kettle leather settee accessibility issue
the location was excellent. my room was clean and tidy. it was well kept. the car porter was a nice touch. he helped with my luggage. the breakfast service was great too. they had good choices.
the kettle was faulty. it needed pressure. it switched until boiling water had been reached. the leather settee looked sumptuous. it was not suitable for me. i have accessibility issues.

stained headboard tired decor
The room i got was really not up to par, considering the price. i found some questionable stains on the headboard. It was pretty gross. the shower cubicle also looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages, and the decor seemed tired. it seemed like they put all their money into the bar and restaurant and forgot about the rooms.

impersonal decor poor maintenance
the location was prime, opposite the abbey.
Our room was too hot. The decor felt impersonal. the bed, a four-poster, was small relative to the room's size. corridors to the room needed some maintenance.
