The room felt very spacious. It included good options for breakfast and I have enjoyed it very much. The location aided getting around.

There was no one at the front desk at checkout. This did not seem cute to me, but I just left the keys. The reception felt not occupied at night. I spoke with the women in the restaurant, they managed the checkin instead.

mixed feelings about my stay

loud ventcold room

i was in the "superior double room". the room felt a little cold. also, a large vent was right next to the room, it made buzzing noises and the plastic flapped. the plastic was taped up, but this didn't really help.

the staff was really great i arrived late, but they kept the kitchen open. they served me an excellent meal. the pre-arrival information led me to expect an unstaffed check-in, but happily there was a helpful human being there to greet me.

i found nobody at the front desk to check out. this doesn't come across as hospitable. there were at least 10 cards lying around, showing that no one was there during check-out time to ask if everything was satisfactory.

the location proved convenient for catching my ferry. i found the room clean and well-equipped, addressing all my basic needs . breakfast in the garden provided a refreshing start to my days, offering plenty of choices.

i noticed the front desk lacked consistent staffing during certain hours. leaving my key without a formal checkout felt impersonal. i missed the chance to provide direct feedback about my stay.
