Hotel Al Gazzettino is in a 17th-century building that once housed a textile workshop and an inn for Turkish workers and merchants. For over 50 years, the hotel has been named after the Gazzettino newspaper, which had its headquarters across the street. It is located in San Marco, surrounded by Venetian alleys and small squares.

The hotel is in downtown Venice, between S.Marco Square and Rialto Bridge, close to the 'Mercerie' shopping street. From Venice 'Marco Polo' Airport, take shuttle bus no. 5 to Piazzale Roma, then ACTV vaporetto line 2 to Rialto. From Treviso 'Antonio Canova' Airport, take the shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma, then Actv vaporetto line 2 to Rialto. From Santa Lucia train station, take ACTV vaporetto line 2 to Rialto.
