“Albergo Ristorante San Biagio has some mixed reviews, but from what I gather, it's a wellness-focused spot that makes the most of Montepulciano's views. I suspect the on-site restaurant, with its panoramic terrace, is where the real magic happens. It seems like a decent base for wine tours, just don't expect perfection.”

Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Albergo Ristorante San Biagio enjoys a convenient location for exploring Tuscany, including Val d'Orcia and Val del Chiana, and is within walking distance of Montepulciano, although some find the uphill walk a bit steep. Guests appreciate the free, spacious on-site parking, which is particularly helpful for those arriving by car, and some enjoyed rooms with balconies offering beautiful views. The breakfast is generally well-received, though a few guests would prefer a wider variety of non-sweet options, and the hotel's restaurant offers delicious meals at excellent value; the indoor pool with access to the outdoors is another plus. While most find the rooms spacious, a few guests have noted that some of the furniture appears old.
