the hotel is just steps from the beach and many lovely restaurants are close (i especially loved the seafood). the ferry to downtown is a short walk along the beach, about 15 minutes. the hotel had a good collection of books and magazines in multiple languages to borrow.

the room decoration needs some refurbishment. the furniture felt a little old.
