room service charge strange policies

i found some aspects disappointing. the advertised complimentary water never arrived, despite being offered. also, the room service charge of €6 was unexpected. these policies felt strange for a hotel of this supposed caliber. plus, paying the full amount upfront, excluding taxes, felt unusual.

Really good Stay in Every Way!

I stayed in a spacious room. The room has modern décor, and I liked it. Breakfast includes fresh fruits, grilled vegetables, and pastries. I enjoyed the air conditioning. It worked perfectly. I also appreciated the makeup mirror in the bathroom.

The hotel is a little far from the center. It's more like a twenty-minute walk.

The breakfast offered a good variety of options.

I booked through a third party and did not receive complimentary water. There was also a strange, unadvertised charge for room service. Apparently, this is normal in Italy, though I have never encountered it before, perhaps I am unlucky, perhaps I was uninformed.

the breakfast buffet offered many choices. fresh and high-quality food was available. the rooftop terrace provided a space to socialize. i found the staff friendly.

i asked about it, but i never received it. there was also an unadvertised charge for room service. it was claimed this is normal in italy.

helpful staff quality linen fabulous shower limited variety shaky elevator taxi access

i found the staff kind. laura and alisa at reception gave great advice. the bed and linen were high quality and i liked the bathroom. it had a fabulous shower.

the breakfast options lacked variety. the elevator needs replacing it was hot slow shaky and rattled. taxis were easier to get from the hotel than the other way around.
