The Yangon Excelsior Hotel features 74 rooms and suites. All accommodations include 5-meter high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, smoked-oak parquet floors, and modern amenities. Each room accommodates two adults; a small bed can be added for a child under 16. Room options include Deluxe rooms (30-36 sqm) with a King Size bed and rain shower, Premium rooms (37-45 sqm) with optional extra bed, and Junior Suites (54 sqm) for up to 2 guests. The Loft is the most spacious Junior Suite (65 sqm) with a mezzanine and access to Newsroom Club benefits. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, espresso machine, electric kettle, mini-bar, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a hairdryer. Bathrooms include amenities and a rain shower. Some rooms provide complimentary tea, towels, wooden/parqueted flooring, a clothes rack, and a scale. Connecting rooms and Deluxe Executive rooms on the 4th floor with Executive Lounge access are available based on availability.
Dining Experiences
Guests can dine at The Newsroom throughout the day, from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm. The Newsroom serves freshly baked breads, sandwiches, salads, pastas, homemade pastries, and afternoon tea. The Newsroom bar offers wines and vintage liqueurs, accompanied by tapas every evening. The Steel Brothers Wine & Grill is open for breakfast from 6:00 am, serving Grill/bbq cuisine.
