White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa offers Island Style Bures. Each bungalow features a private balcony with ocean views, a ceiling fan, minibar, plus tea and coffee-making facilities. Select bungalows overlook the mini-golf course with partial ocean views, a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a large wardrobe, and an en suite bathroom. Some include a lounge area with sofas, a table and chairs, a kitchenette, a ceiling fan, and 3 single-sized beds. The resort has an island-style restaurant and bar set high on an ancient reef overlooking the western coastline. The restaurant offers a menu that changes daily, featuring local and international dishes based on seasonal ingredients, including freshly caught fish and lobster. The Nabisa Day Spa is at a private sunset point in an open bure with views over the coastline. Therapists are professionally trained to provide treatments using natural volcanic materials. Facials, scrubs, and volcanic ash are used in body wraps. Guests can watch dolphins or whales swim past from July to October. Volcano Island Divers offers SCUBA diving with 'Discover Scuba Dive' and 'PADI Scuba Diving Course' options. Tours to Mt Yasur Volcano and local villages are available with experienced guides.
Location and Access
White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa is 5 km from Tanna, one of the southernmost islands of the Vanuatu archipelago. The resort is 6 km from Yakel Village and Tafutuna Cultural Experience, and 1 km from Blue Cave. Guests can see Erromango, another Vanuatu island north of Tanna. The hotel is near sunset points. Guests can watch locals fishing or collecting food on low tide. Free airport transfers from Tanna Domestic Airport are available.
