The Wallace Inn offers 59 rooms and 4 suites, renovated in 2009. Accommodations include king and queen beds, refrigerators, and Wi-Fi. Each room features mountain views, a 25-inch cable TV, a hair dryer, and independent climate control. ADA-rated rooms are available. King Rooms offer an oversized armchair and work area. Double Queen Rooms accommodate families. Queen Rooms include a queen bed, and some have a sleeper sofa. Two-Room Suites have a California king bed, a flat-screen TV, a wet bar, a mini fridge, and a full-sized sleeper sofa separated by French doors. The Silver Suite features a marble hot tub, a California king bed, a sleeper sofa, and a powder room. The Hospitality Suite accommodates up to 25 people and includes a wet bar, a mini fridge, a sleeper sofa, and an optional California king bed.
Dining Options
The Wallace Inn provides several dining options. The Trailside Cafe serves breakfast. O'Rourke's Lounge offers a fully-stocked bar with beer, wine, and cocktails, along with a television. The lounge may be booked for private events with meals. Continental breakfast includes pastries and juices. The Northwest Breakfast features scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Eggs Wallace includes scrambled eggs, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, bacon, and hash browns. Wallace Inn Crepes are apple crepes with cinnamon sauce, hash browns, and sausage. A Northwest Fastbreak includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and sausage gravy. A Full American Breakfast Buffet provides juices, fruits, muffins, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a choice of meat. The Chef's Salad offers mixed greens with ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, tomato, and egg. The Deli Platter includes turkey, ham, roast beef, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and potato salad. Tuna or Chicken Salad is served with greens, fruit, and tomato. The Soup and Sandwich option includes a choice of salad or soup and a sandwich with roast beef, turkey, ham, or chicken salad. Buffets are available for groups, with options such as a Deli Buffet featuring meats and cheeses, or a Mexican Buffet with tacos, beans, and rice. Dinner entrees include Roast Pork with Dijonnaise sauce, Prime Rib, Roast Turkey, Chicken Dijon, and Baked Halibut. A Dinner Buffet is available for groups, offering a choice of two entrees with vegetables, potatoes, and dessert.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests have access to a blue-tiled indoor pool and a jetted spa, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. The Wallace Inn features a dry sauna and a steam room. A fitness room is equipped with workout equipment and a full bathroom.
Location and Transportation
The Wallace Inn is positioned in Wallace, Idaho, near Interstate 90, between Lookout Pass and Silver Mountain. It is located in the Silver Valley, known as the Silver Capital of the World. Nearby landmarks include the Galena Mine (3 km), the Wallace Mining Museum (0.5 km), and the Pulaski Tunnel Trail (1.5 km). Truck and trailer parking is available on the west side of the building. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes trailhead is in Cataldo, 73 miles away. The Route of the Hiawatha Bike Trail is nearby. Rick Shaffer manages an airport shuttle.
Hotel Services
The Wallace Inn offers meeting facilities and group amenities, including banquet and catering services. The Gold Room seats up to 100 people and can be divided into two smaller rooms. The Silver Board Room seats 10 people, with room for 10 additional seats. Molly's seats groups of up to 40. O'Rourke's Lounge can be booked for private events. The lawn and pool area can accommodate up to 100 guests for outdoor events. The hotel offers a free in-town, step-on guide service. Complimentary wine and cheese socials are available for overnight groups. Maps and guides are available. Staff can suggest favorite rides, trails, and haunts.
