Villas Sol Beach Resort is located on Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The resort is surrounded by a tropical forest and offers views of the sea. Guanacaste International Airport (Liberia, LIR) is a 20-minute drive. The resort offers internal free shuttle to the Blue Flag-certified beach. The hotel is committed to making facilities, amenities and services accessible to guests with disabilities including accessible parking, ramps, public entrance, public areas, route to restaurants and pools. Early entry to the Resort is available from 11:00 am with a food bracelet and use of facilities. Check-in time is at 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. Minimum lodging requirements apply during Long Weekends, Holidays, Christmas, New Year and Easter Week.
Rooms & Villas
Accommodations include rooms and villas with contemporary designs, light color schemes, tile floors, and white bedding. Rooms feature flat-screen televisions and marble bathrooms with rainfall showerheads. They also have a desk area, chairs, a large closet, a bathroom with a rain shower, and personal amenities. Some rooms include balconies or terraces with ocean or garden views. Accessible guest rooms with mobility features, including doors with a minimum 35.8 -inch-wide opening. Premium Ocean View Villas have two floors, a loft-style social area, a kitchen, and a private terrace. The upper floor includes two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, plus a balcony with sea views.
Dining Onsite
The Bahía Restaurant offers buffet-style dining with Costa Rican dishes and international options. Breakfast includes Gallo pinto and regional fruits. Lunch and dinner offer a variety of side dishes, meats, pasta, salads, and desserts. The Wet Bar is located at the main pool and serves cocktails and drinks. Gaviota's Bar offers a friendly atmosphere with classic and modern cocktails. The Imperial Bar features views and sunsets, and is open to the public (not part of the Meal Plan).
Things To Do
The concierge can arrange tours and activities, including ecological tourism, extreme sports, water sports, and sailing. Tours are available to Diamante Adventure Park, cocoa farms, botanical gardens, and waterfalls. Beach Lovers tours visit Flamingo, Conchal, Brasilito, and Tamarindo beaches. Other activities include sport fishing, ATV adventures, jet skiing, and rafting on the Tenorio River. Guests participating in activities must sign a release form. The resort provides free WiFi in rooms, gardens, restaurants, and bars.

Service dogs are permitted, and the hotel is not responsible for their care. Violators will be fined a minimum of 180.000 colons (US$355). The hotel provides point-to-point transfer in a vehicle suited to fit your needs while providing comfort and performance through a completely paved highway. Water is potable in most of the country. The hotel is committed to the safekeeping and secure use of the compiled information. We do not charge extra fees for service dogs, but the hotel may charge you to the owner against any destruction of property.
