Location & Access
Villas Caracol is on Holbox Island, part of Yum Balam, a biosphere reserve. From Cancun, travelers can take the 180 highway towards Valladolid. Buses to Chiquila leave from the downtown Cancun ADO bus station. Ferries cross to the island from Chiquila every hour. Holbox Ferry Terminal offers whale shark-watching trips and connections to Chiquilá. Landmarks nearby include El Corchal (1.5 km), Ayim Naha (0.5 km), and Playa Holbox (0.5 km).
