Villa Irlanda Grand Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a minibar. Rooms feature a basic décor, mountain views, and a bathroom with a shower. Some rooms include an elegant décor and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower; specify bed preference when booking. The two-level suites, connected by a staircase, have a living room, a separate bedroom with bathroom, and views of the city, garden, mountain, or pool. Rooms include ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, a sitting area, a terrace, free toiletries, an AM/FM alarm clock, a flat-screen TV, and parquet flooring. For double rooms with single beds booked on the same day, contact the hotel to check availability.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast is served in the Breakfast House from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The hotel has onsite restaurants.

Leisure Facilities

The hotel features an Olympic-size swimming pool. Guests can settle on the solarium with sun beds and deck chairs for sunbathing. Volturno Golf Club is near the Holiday Inn Resort Naples-Castelvolturno. Guests receive an attendance certificate from the Federal Centre after training by qualified instructors, and can hire boats and watercrafts. One of the pools is an Olympic size swimming pool; the other nine are in a sandy ground overlooking the islands of Ischia and Procida.

Location and Access

Villa Irlanda Grand Hotel is 3 km from Formia Train Station, with trains to Rome. It's also 100 km from Capodichino. Taxis or local buses leave from the station forecourt every 20 minutes and stop outside the hotel entrance. The hotel is near landmarks such as the Mausoleum of Cicero (1.5 km), Vendicio (1 km), Spiaggia di Vindicio (1.5 km), Spiaggetta dei 40 Remi (2 km), Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Formia (2.5 km), Cisternone Romano (2.5 km), and Walk in Gaeta (3.5 km). Its position, 170 meters above sea level, lets you enjoy both the sea and mountain views. The hotel is surrounded by a fruit scent from trees and vegetation on the north side of the hill.
