Sunset Grill Restaurant
The Velero Beach Resort has a full-service restaurant, Sunset Grill, specializing in international cuisine with an island touch. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for gluten-free and vegan. Breakfast options include American breakfast with eggs, ham, bacon or sausage, Dominican breakfast with mangu, salami, fried cheese and eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and pancakes. Lunch options feature stewed chicken, beef or pork chop, parmesan eggplant, fish and chips, pork chops, chicken wings, fish fingers, chicken fingers, tacos, quesadillas and skewers. Dinner includes tuna steak, mahi-mahi fillet, fried fish, shrimp, Caribbean baby lobster, lobster, seafood grill, seafood cazuela, salmon and a beef filet.
Leisure and Activities
Velero Beach Resort provides access to the beach. The resort is located at the eastern tip of the 2km long Cabarete Beach, offering a view of the water sports activities. Guests can participate in yoga classes. Kathi teaches Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and VinYin classes in the garden. Classes include meditation, breath work, physical poses, and relaxation. InspireDR, an organization providing free after-school and summer programs teaching boys practical life skills and instilling positive values, is supported by the hotel.
