Location and Surroundings
Hotel Tyrol is on the southern slopes of Meran, in Schenna, 35 km from Bolzano. The location provides views of the Merano countryside, the Adige Valley, and the mountains. It is near hiking trails and the spa town of Merano. In autumn, the nature around Lake Caldaro is particularly beautiful when the fruits of the grape-vines and apple trees are mature and ready to be harvested. The trailheads are easily accessible via the Tschögglberg Bus. Cable cars provide access to mountain pastures.
