The hotel provides authorized access for guests into the limited traffic zone (ZTL), with reception staff communicating license plates to local authorities for convenience. This central position allows easy access to the funicular and ferry pier, enhancing guest exploration of the region.

The hotel offers a range of recently renovated rooms equipped with air conditioning and parquet flooring in most. Each room includes essential amenities such as satellite TV, safety deposit boxes, and a hair dryer. Guests can also access a conference room situated in an area originally built in the 1700s, featuring a beautifully restored wooden ceiling.

Dining

The on-site restaurant, Tre Re, features a broad frescoed ceiling and accommodates up to 50 people, welcoming both hotel and non-hotel guests. During summer, dining extends to an outdoor courtyard accessible from Via Vitani, providing an inviting setting for aperitifs and meals. Traditional cuisine is served, emphasizing local ingredients and regional flavors.

Highlights

Location: 100 meters from the lake

Accommodations: recently renovated rooms

Dining: restaurant Tre Re with outdoor courtyard

Environmentally Conscious: energy efficiency measures

“Hotel Tre Re's charm comes from its history as a 16th-century convent, now a family-run hotel close to Lake Como and the Cathedral; the staff's local knowledge enhances the experience, so guests can expect a truly Italian welcome. The on-site restaurant prepares traditional cuisine, and I think it is worthwhile to ask about a personalized menu if you have specific needs. A solid choice for those seeking an authentic stay.”
