The hotel is a five-minute walk from both Dam Square and Central Station. Parking is available at Parking Centrum Oosterdok, the cheapest car park in the center and next to Amsterdam Central Station, and Q-Park Nieuwendijk, which is easily accessible from the motorway.

Travel Hotel Amsterdam strictly prohibits candles and incense due to fire hazards; these items will be confiscated without return. The hotel strictly enforces its rules and may remove violators without warning. Guests are responsible for their visitors' conduct. Recreational drug use is prohibited in the building and its surroundings. Suspected rule violations may lead to deportation, police reports, and blacklisting. The costs of fines are paid directly at reception. Appropriate clothing and shoes are required in public areas.
