“While the building holds historical charm and offers ample space, some aspects require attention. From an editor's perspective, its main advantages are proximity to Burton's brewing attractions and suitability for business or solo travelers. However, the on-site maintenance should align with the overall promise of a character-rich stay.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Three Queens Hotel offers a convenient location, with some guests appreciating its proximity to Burton Place shops like Aldi and B&M, and particularly the Merlin Archery store. Many rooms include useful amenities like a microwave and fridge, with the Catherine suite even featuring a fully equipped kitchen including cutlery, kettle, toaster, oven and a freezer. Some guests have, however, mentioned seeing long-term residents around the car park, which made them feel unsafe. The availability of parking in the centre is seen as a bonus.

adequate stay

friendly staffconvenient locationteacoffeeslow waterold buildingindifferent receptionist
the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. the room i stayed in was a good size for one person. tea and coffee facilities were available in my room. i also found the location convenient for accessing nearby shops.
i had to wait quite a long time for hot water to come through the taps. the building felt rather old and could use better maintenance. i also noticed the receptionist seemed a bit indifferent when i arrived, it felt impersonal.

The staff were helpful and friendly . They had a microwave, kettle and fridge in the room, convenient. I was there for a hockey camp for my son (it was very important).
The receptionist seemed indifferent when i arrived. I had to wait a very long time for hot water in the sink and shower. The building wasn't very well maintained.
