dirty ironing board shower mold

I was assigned a room, a Standard Double Room no less, that clearly needed some attention. The shower was less than appealing, sporting noticeable mold and what looked like years of accumulated grime. An ironing board was also present, but it had seen better days and frankly was quite dirty. These issues really detracted from what could have been an otherwise acceptable stay.

the staff were friendly making me feel welcome. breakfast offered a good range of options. my room was spacious, ensuring i had plenty of room to relax. i found the bed comfortable contributing to a restful sleep.

The hot water took a little while to run clear. This occurred each morning.

the staff was very helpful. breakfast offered a good variety of options, i noticed fresh fruit and pastries. my room included tea and coffee making facilities, always appreciated. the central location aided in exploring local attractions, so everything felt very accessible

I noticed the bathroom could use some updating. The fixtures showed some wear. there was a loose tile, seem less maintained.

brown water old furniture

the staff were friendly. the bedroom and shower room provided ample space.

the hot tap produced brown water after i turned it on , and this happened repeatedly. i was informed the plumbing pipes were old and i had to just let the water run clear. also , the furniture was old and marked.

yummy cauli cheese tender meat black marks dirty ironing board

the sunday roast was amazing!!! the roasties were great and the cauli cheese was yummy. the gravy tasted lovely and the meat was tender.

the room definitely needs a refresh. the shower had lots of mould and black marks. a dirty ironing board.
