Rooms at Wayside Inn
The Wayside Inn features 14 rooms in the main building, furnished in a traditional New England style. Rooms offer double, queen, or king beds. All rooms include private bathrooms and air conditioning; select rooms have whirlpool tubs. The Inn does not have TVs in the guestrooms; a common television is available in the parlor. The annex, located by the Ammonoosuc River, provides 12 modern rooms. Annex rooms feature either two double beds or a queen bed, cable TV, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. Annex rooms are pet-friendly and include balconies with river views.
Dining at the Inn
The Wayside Restaurant offers breakfast each morning from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Breakfast includes options like eggs with bacon, sausage, or ham, quiche, waffles with blueberry compote, buttermilk pancakes, oatmeal, and cold cereal. Local maple syrup is available. The Inn also has a bar and on-site lounge. Nearby dining options include Cold Mountain Café, Rosa Flamingo (for Sunday brunch), Maia Papaya (offering vegetarian and vegan options), and Rek'lis Brewery.
Leisure and Activities
The Wayside Inn features manicured gardens, a private riverside beach, outdoor fire pits, a basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits. Guests have direct access to snowmobile and XC ski trails. It is a 3-minute drive from White Mountain National Forest and 10 minutes from Bretton Woods Ski Area. The Inn is 100 km from Errol. The nearest airport is Lebanon Municipal Airport. Local attractions include 42 Maple Contemporary Art Center, Indian Brook Trading Post, The Rocks Estate, and Local Works Marketplace at WREN.
