The Talbot, located within a National Park, offers a great location, ideal for walks. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring seating areas and large beds, though a few have found them a bit dark. Lovely Stay at a Country Gem!

well-kept gardensfriendly mangreat valueflat beer
My wife and I were visiting the area! The gardens are super well-kept! The landlord, Richard, immediately greeted us. He is such a friendly man, and George, our dog, became friends quickly. We checked out the menu, and the prices were lower than expected! It felt great.
When we returned. The beer was flat. A loud group of young men occupied the bar, made conversations difficult. We asked about the Village Bar, but the bar lady said it was only for locals. This wasn't ideal.
Facilities
9/10
The premises include a beautifully maintained beer garden and a very accessible layout. The bar and inside dining room are super clean and well-organized, nice.
Location
8/10
The hotel is situated in a charming village. It offers a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions. Its location is ideal for those seeking a peaceful countryside retreat, exactly what we needed.
Service
10/10
The staff members, especially the owners Kim and Richard, are friendly and accommodating. They provide a warm welcome and ensure guests feel valued. It's a cute experience.
