Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Stag Hotel is frequently praised for its excellent value and convenient location, particularly for attending functions in Banchory or visiting the town centre. Guests often highlight the comfortable, modern rooms and the benefit of having a pub downstairs. Some guests have noted noise from seagulls and found the access through the smoking area a bit unsettling. Nevertheless, the optional continental breakfast basket has proven a popular addition, with a good selection of items like porridge and yogurts.

Wonderful Stay, Great Location

clean roomgreat locationaccommodating staffgreat taxi
My room was clean, and it had everything I needed. The location worked well since I went to an event nearby. Staff was accommodating, and they did allow me to leave my bag before check-in. They recommended a great taxi service too.
The stairs to the rooms were steep. They are narrow too.
Service
9/10
The staff were friendly and helpful. They did offer recommendations for local services. Check-in process happened at the bar, and it felt efficient. All interactions were positive and prompt.
