“The inn's central Jedburgh location places guests within easy reach of local attractions, including the Mary Queen of Scots House. I think that the in-house bar definitely adds a social element, while the comfortable rooms offer a relaxing retreat after exploring the surrounding borderlands. I found the breakfast room quite inviting. A lovely breakfast was supplied each morning. The location is central on the high street.. this made getting around easy. My room was equipped with a comfortable bed and provided a relaxing sleep.
The stairs to my room were somewhat steep and narrow, making it a little difficult to carry luggage.

i found breakfast really good. the hotel gave me a tasty gluten free breakfast without sausages, and gluten free toast because i have coeliac disease. staff did understand my condition. i booked an evening meal in a nearby restaurant from the list they gave me.
i had a little trouble getting in at first and i was the only person there. i had to call many times before some one came. the hotel was cold and darkish on entering and also not much lighting on during my arrival. the host was kind to me though.
