The Reef features 21 rooms in 6 categories, from air-conditioned rooms to family accommodations. The Air-con room is a popular choice. The Deluxe Balcony rooms, located on the second floor 10 meters above ground, offer a panoramic view from Chao Ley village to Adang Island and the sea. The Family Aircon room has two levels and is set away from the road in the garden. The Family Twin consists of two connecting rooms, each with a 32-inch flatscreen TV and air-conditioning. The Family Balcony room, located on the second floor, includes an 18-square-meter balcony, a 42-square-meter bed/living room, and a large bathroom, facing east to view the sunrise. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, movies, a king-size bed, and a queen-size bed. Some rooms have a fridge, minibar, beach towels, a safety box, a hot shower, toiletries, and a hair dryer.
Dining at The Reef
Breakfast is included in the high season. If not included, breakfast can be purchased at the reception. The hotel presents a cocktail bar.
Leisure Activities
The Reef provides free Wi-Fi. The Travel Center at the reception can assist with travel plans around the Archipelago. Guests can book snorkel trips and diving trips. Snorkel trips take visitors to four or five sites to see marine life, costing between 550 THB and 650 THB for a day trip from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Adang Sea Divers, located 200 meters from The Reef, offers diving trips by speedboat in small groups. They offer first-time dives for beginners and courses from open water to Rescue and EFR. Trekking on Koh Adang is accessible by longtail boat from Sunrise Beach for about 100 THB per person.
Location and Surroundings
The Reef is near Sunrise Beach (300m), Pattaya Beach (500m), and Sunset Beach (800m). Koh Lipe is the southernmost island in Thailand. Sunrise Beach, on the eastern side of Koh Lipe, stretches for more than 1.5 kilometers. Pattaya Beach has restaurants, bars, live music, and fire shows. The walking street of Koh Lipe runs from Pattaya Beach to Sunrise Beach and transforms into a bazar with bars, shops, and restaurants after 5:00 PM.
