the staff seemed to know my name at arrival, it was quite a surprise. the room had a coffee machine, which i find useful.

found dirty toilet paper near the toilet brush, a charming touch i did not pay extra for. the lack of liquid soap was a bit of a miss and i searched for towels, like i was on some sort of treasure hunt. lights played hide-and-seek, working when they was like it.

The staff were very accommodating and always smiling. They made my partner's birthday special. Our room decor was fine, clean, fresh, homely, and warm. I really appreciated these small details. I will definitely come back again. I loved this place.

I wish there had been a more comfortable spot to use my laptop in the room. It was a minor inconvenience. The lighting was a little inconsistent. I hope this is easily resolved .

The decor featured rich, elegant details that felt luxurious. the environment surrounding the building was quiet and green. the terrace allowed me to relax outdoors. the on-site restaurant served excellent food. facilities in the room included a coffee machine plus a kettle with gorgeous cups. i could have used more breakfast tea. the room also had a fan. breakfast offered a satisfying experience each morning . the front of house staff member knew my name at arrival and showed me to my room. the bedrooms are clean with thoughtful touches. the food was award winning too. the pictures available do not capture the beauty of the place. the team accommodated an early breakfast request one sunday before the great north run. the food was award winning. the bedrooms were beautiful. i noticed thoughtful touches throughout the hotel.

i found no liquid soap in the dispenser and lights would not work consistently.
