Things To Do
The Hotel Garibaldi features a pool for guest use. You can explore Garibaldi's fishing marina where commercial fisherman sling their catches of ling cod, fresh Dungeness crabs, rockfish and even octopus onto the docks. The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, located across the highway from the hotel, offers train rides with an historic steam locomotive along Tillamook Bay to Rockaway Beach. Visit the Tillamook Creamery, a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and take factory tours and tastings. At Cape Meares National Wildlife Refuge, observe nesting seabirds and Peregrine Falcons. You can also embark on recumbent bikes on the coast's unused railroad tracks, pedal 11 miles through farmlands, over rivers and trestles, and past coastlines.
