the room was clean and fresh. the double bed provided the best night's sleep. staff were lovely and warm, a sweet touch .

dirty shower drafty windows

the staff were helpful , which i suppose is something.

the room i had was less than stellar. the shower was questionable , and i'm not sure it had ever met bleach. the windows didn't close properly , a fact i discovered quickly thanks to the lovely draft. i had to wait an age for hot water , once.

I found the hotel very close to the railway station. This made my arrival and departure easy. The staff were always available, so any questions I had were quickly answered. My room was equipped with everything necessary, like fresh towels and tea and coffee supplies. I also found parking nearby without any cost.

I noticed some noise from nearby nightlife one evening.
