i had a lovely big room it included a comfy bed and a clean bathroom the shower had lots of hot water a kettle tea and coffee were available in the room i enjoyed an excellent breakfast the staff was very friendly food in the bar in the evening was very good

a tender northern stay

the location proved convenient as a stop s around the north. it felt affordable and featured food service, preventing the need to leave the premises. parking space was available. i found the hotel reception team helpful when they arranged a cot.
the carpet was covered in crumbs, it seemed not hoovered recently. i saw used false eyelashes on the dressing table.

i appreciated rooms were clean and had a velux window. i could open it for fresh airflow. the family room had two adjoining rooms. each room featured its own bathroom, this was helpful.

breakfast had many choices, that felt comprehensive. the bar staff were friendly and supplied coffee. i had access to soft drinks and alcohol. the pub downstairs allowed my husband to take his pint upstairs.

The location worked well as a stopping point s. Food was available at the hotel so I did not have to leave.
The room was far too hot. Ventilation came only from a skylight. The skylight opened just a couple of inches. It did little to cool the room.

the staff was friendly. the breakfast had good service and tasty pancakes with strawberries and syrup. the brewed tea was perfect, and i did not need extra teabags. this is good customer service.
the room lacked proper cleaning, with previous guest items still present.

amazing experience, i'm excited!

this place rules! breakfast includes very tasty homemade pancakes. the bar area has a very friendly atmosphere. i also had a great steak and roast beef in the restaurant and that was a real success!
the room only had two cups and little spoons and some were a tiny bit dirty. that was barely noticeable, though!
