Location and Transport
The Flame Tree Estate & Hotel is 20 km from Polgolla Reservoir Sea Plane and a 120-minute drive from Kandy, where tea industry began on plantations at 2-4,000 ft, in 1867. It is near Polonnaruwa, the capital of the island's last independent unitary Kingdom. The narrow road to the hotel starts between the Galagedera Water Board and Sri Lanka Telcom on Rambukkana Road.
