Some rooms offer a kitchenette with a microwave. Heating and air conditioning are standard. Room type and bed type are allocated upon check-in and are subject to availability. Rooms 301-306 are on the second floor, while rooms 401-405 are on the third floor. Please note there is no elevator or lift. Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
Dining at Magnum & Steins
The Duckworth Inn features an on-site restaurant, Magnum & Steins, open from 5 PM daily. Happy hour, with special food and drink menus, runs from 5-7 PM. The restaurant offers local seafood, steaks, and handmade pasta. Executive Chef Chris Chafe, is known for creating menus that feature a wide variety of tantalizing dishes, made fresh and from scratch, and Barry Bennett, with 30 years in food and beverage, is all over Vu. An assortment of regularly changing desserts ends each meal. The soundtrack is a mix of conversation, laughter and gently upbeat tunes tripping along in the background that will give you a full-on sensory dining experience. Newman's Fine Dining reminds guests of the days of white glove service and tableside cooking.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The Duckworth Inn provides a terrace for guest comfort. Local boat tours depart from St John's Harbour, two blocks behind the property. The Rooms, a provincial art gallery and museum, is located two blocks uphill. George Street, known for its nightlife, is a 5-10 minute walk. Signal Hill National Historic Site and Cabot Tower are 2 km away, and easily accessible for walking tours.
